Now that our project has been complete for a time, I wanted to drop you a line with some feedback.

Firstly, I want to extend to you and the whole Pacific Tec team my thanks, and the thanks of the Sonoma County Water Agency, for doing a thorough and professional job. This was a difficult project which you achieved promptly with limited support resources. your flexibility to our schedules was appreciated. It's been a pleasure working with all of
you.

The Online Documentation Project is an out-and-out success. The fact that all of our documentation for the Airport facility is now complete, easily accessed, and continuously available from any network terminal is fantastic. The ease of updating the master files assures us that, through the years, our documentation can be concise and accurate (unlike the multiple generations of plans and manuals from which this project started).

The browser-based intuitive interface makes this tool invaluable to our Operations staff. The ability to quickly zoom in and out on a facility overview schematic and to call linked photographs with a single click of the mouse is a great feature. Having all our SOP's and O&M's integrated into the package from hyperlink menus has enabled personnel to get the right information at a moments notice.

The bottom line is that this was a critical project and you made it a categorical success by providing a quality product.

Hello Carlos,

Rick Rettinhouse just finished delivering the manual for the
HP 86037A CD system. I want to tell you how pleased I am with
the work that Rick has done. The files for the HP 86037A book
printed properly, and we were able to create a pdf file for
the web. I always enjoy working with Rick; he maintains a
positive attitude and delivers his books on time! On several
occasions, I have had the opportunity to share FrameMaker
"war stories" with Rick, and I've always been impressed with
his knowledge of this tool.

Once again, thanks for the excellent work that Rick has done
for us. I look forward to working with him on future
projects.

Dear PacificTec,

Verna recently completed the learning products for the introduction of the new 85039B calibration kit.  Because of the extremely heavy workload in PL14 learning products, she was given entire responsibility for this project without the opportunity for a lot of the training and mentoring that we like to give someone on their first few projects.

Verna did an excellent job of just taking the ball on this project and running with it.  Some of the feedback from others on the launch team were “very positive”, “clearly communicated the deliverables and the schedule,” “collaborative,” and “did a fine job of keeping track of all the details.”

I really appreciate the way Verna took ownership for the project and followed through on everything, and I thought you’d want to know what a great job she is doing.

Dear PacificTec,

I wanted to let (you) know how much I appreciate Trish being in our department.  She has been such a joy to work with and always so helpful.

The workload has increased and I have had to give Trish so much work lately.  She is getting the projects out or in review ahead of schedule.  She always lets me know when her time is freeing up.  She also is showing me how to use the Mac and teaching me short cuts.

The most wonderful thing is being able to approach her with questions or problems.  She always stops and helps me right then.  This is important because my customers are usually on the phone and want an answer right now.  I am looking forward to working with her in 1998.
